The Focus of our consulting business is Strategic Business, Marketing, and Sales Planning work for industrial product manufacturers, engineering, and science-based companies. Most of our Clients are operations within large corporations or privately owned businesses. We help them to analyze, plan and work their way out of problem situations; or help them to develop strategies and programs to grow their business.

Develop Strategic Business Plans and translate these into practical plans for
implementation. Partner with each Client during implementation. Assess Strengths
and Weaknesses in dimensions such as competitive strategy, market positioning,
sales and distribution channels, field service / aftermarket operations, advertising
and marketing programs, and customer loyalty and retention. Develop International
Sales and Export Marketing programs.
New Products, from Concept to Commercialization:
Evaluate the market potential for, then plan and successfully introduce new
products and services. Rationalize product lines. Manage new product introduction projects.
Strategic Market Research:
Design and conduct research to provide the foundation for a strategic business
plan or the case for a new business initiative, or to identify the cause of
a business problem. Develop actionable business recommendations based on interviewing
current and ex customers, industry experts, competitors, sales and distribution
channels, managers, executives and business owners.
Pre- and Post- Acquisition Support:
Identify, then perform due diligence on "good fit" acquisition candidates;
Refocus the strategy of a recently acquired business; Develop post-acquisition
sales channel integration strategies.
Jon R. Oliver, the firm's principal, has a BS degree in Natural Sciences (Chemistry major) and an MA degree in Economics, both from Cambridge University in England. He has 28 years' progressive line management achievements in market-leading manufacturing companies based in the U.S., Canada, and England, three of which had multinational operations. His responsibilities included product management, international sales, marketing management (to the VP level), and general management. After 25 years in America, this diverse experience has given him a unique business perspective.
